100% CANADIAN MILK
The majority of our products carry a claim of 100% Canadian milk.
Products bearing the Dairy Farmers of Canada logo are made with Canadian milk and milk ingredients. The logo lets Canadian shoppers know that the purchase of a product directly supports Canadian dairy farmers and Canadian dairy processors. Many of our products are proudly made with 100% Canadian milk.

ORGANIC CERTIFICATION
Organic certification is based on compliance with the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, which govern farming and manufacturing practices that are consistent with organic production.
In the dairy industry, this means, among other things, using strictly organic milk (livestock feed is free of GMOs), monitoring the products used for cleaning and sanitizing, as well as ensuring that organic products do not come into contact with non-organic, or so-called “conventional” products.
We are proud to hold this certification for several products such as butter, milk and cream.

HALAL CERTIFICATION
Halal is a religious certification sought by the Muslim community. We hold this certification for several products such as butter, cheese and dairy powders.
We adhere to the prescribed rules and principles, in particular to ensure that ingredients are Halal-compliant and there are no haram practices, i.e. those prohibited by Islam.

KOSHER CERTIFICATION
This religious certification, sought by the Jewish community, indicates that a product complies with prescribed dietary standards. For a product to be certified Kosher, all its ingredients must be in compliance.
The majority of our butters, powders, milks, creams, cultured products and ice creams carry the COR logo, which refers to our certification body, the Kashruth Council of Canada (www.cor.ca). This is the largest Kosher certification body in Canada.

SAFE QUALITY FOOD PROGRAM
SQF is a food safety certification recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) that we are proud to have in our plants manufacturing foodservice products. For buyers, such as food manufacturers or retailers, SQF certification programs reduce the risk of a supply chain issue that could result in a recall and other financial impacts. Purchasing from certified sites helps companies ensure that their suppliers have rigorous food safety and quality programs in place.

HAZARD ANALYSIS CRITICAL CONTROL POINT PROGRAM
All our plants have based their food safety plan on HACCP principles. HACCP is an internationally recognized approach to produce safe food by establishing and monitoring any biological, chemical and physical hazards.
